Caring for wool doesn't have to be hard. With a little attention, your Archive pieces will stay beautiful for years to come.

Step One
Washing your
garments.
01
Wool is naturally stain and odor resistant — wash only when needed. Hand washing is always recommended.
02
Fill a sink with cool to lukewarm water. Add a small amount of mild detergent or wool wash — or just use plain cool water.
03
Fully submerge your item and let it soak for 20 minutes. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the fabric together.
04
Lay flat on a clean towel. Roll the towel to gently squeeze out water — never wring or hang. Leave to dry flat.
Step Two
What to do when
your knitwear pills.
Pilling is a natural process caused by friction, where shorter fibers migrate to the surface and form small balls of fiber.
Use a wool comb or fabric shaver to gently remove pills. Always brush in the same direction as the knitting to avoid damaging the fibers.
Pilling is a natural characteristic of wool — not an imperfection, but the sign of a well loved piece in your wardrobe.
Think of pilling as a sign of a well-loved piece. With proper care it will continue to look beautiful for years.
Step Three
Storing your
knitwear.
Never hang wool knitwear. Hanging causes stretching and distortion over time. Always fold and store flat.
Store folded in a drawer, dust bag, or storage box between wears to maintain shape and protect the fibers.
To keep moths away, add a few cedar balls to the drawer or storage box. Cedar is a natural, fragrance-free deterrent.
